Blackhawk Credit Union Negotiations Update

The Committee continues to work toward an agreement. We have tentatively agreed to about 90% of the contract. The last 10% is what we have been working on since last week. We will meet with management again tomorrow, Wed., April 6th. We will keep you informed as we go.

3/29/11
After an 11-day break from negotiations, we are back at the table. We continue to make progress. Today marked the 10th session and the 83rd Tentative Agreement.
We look forward to meeting again tomorrow, when we will begin our 3rd day of discussions on economic issues.

After a slow start we are picking up some momentum; and end day 6 with a total count of 38 TA's (Tentative Agreements) in Non Economics.
The plan, as of today, is to start Economics by the end of this week.

We are going in to day 4 of contract negotiations with management. We currently have 6 T.A's and continue to work on non-economic issues and are looking forward to making more progress today.

Your Bargaining Committee is meeting with Management today to open up contract negotiations. We would like to thank Region 4 Assistant Director Brad Dutcher, Region 4 Servicing Rep. Tony Rainey, President John Dohner, and Vice President Mike Marcks for showing their support as these important contract talks begin.
